This is a stunning pair of antique clam shell / scallop dishes. Rare to find in this size and quality. Truly magical.

The dishes are in great condition. Some minor surface wear, and one single area of wear-through, which can be seen on the patterned 'handle' of one of the dishes.
Marks
The dishes are both marked with a French silver maker's mark 'AL' in a square as well as a crossed spoon and fork, and a star.
