This is a stunning example of a Danish vintage, circa 1940s/1950s, cocktail measure in silverplate. It is a piece of what is referred to as ‘hotel silver’ because the type of plating is of a more durable type, used in places open to the public - thus used repeatedly - such as hotels, bars and restaurants.
This one is a beautiful piece in an upside-down beehive shape, carrying the mark of “Aarhus Hallen” an event venue in Denmark’s second largest city Aarhus.
