This is a stunning example of a Danish vintage, circa 1940s/1950s, cocktail measure in silverplate. It is a piece of what is referred to as ‘hotel silver’ because the type of plating is of a more durable type, used in places open to the public - thus used repeatedly - such as hotels, bars and restaurants.
This one is lovely example, clearly having seen the action of an active 1940s cocktail-serving establishment, bearing the inscription 'Schous Hotel'.
A truly transportive piece - as if borrowed directly from behind the bar. A stunning piece to add to ones own bar.
