  • This stunning brooch is a prime example of the iconic Skønvirke style, which was the Danish equivalent to the Art Nouveau.

This style of jewellery is best known for its links to such master makers as Torvald Binnesbøll and Georg Jensen.

Set with a beautiful butterscotch amber cabochon, the organic, idealistic shapes of the silver embody everything that this time in Danish silver smithing was about.

This example features a hanging pendant beneath the main body.
