    • Condition

      Very nice vintage condition. The jar has some minor glaze chips but no chips or cracks in the ceramic. The lid is in lovely condition with no engravings and no particular signs of use. Unpolished with a very beautiful patination. 

    • Marks

      Jar is signed underneath 'EJO' for Ejnar Johansen and '11.L'. 

      Lid is unmarked (or possibly has very faint Danish hallmarks on the inside). It could be silver but it could also be silverplated. It has no wear to indicate silverplating. Acid testing indicated that it is silver. Attributed to Danish silversmith L. Berth.
