This cocktail shaker is quite special. Despite its fairly unassuming, though super classic and stylish outer, it's insides is where you want to find what makes it truly stand out.
Despite this being far from the only shaker which W. S & S. (Willliam Suckling and Sons) have produced with an internal ice cube crusher fitted inside, it is the largest such piece I have ever seen. Despite doing quite extensive research on the matter, I have been unable to find any with more than 4 rows of prongs, whereas this shaker has a remarkable 9 rows - making it look rather like something of a midieval weapon.
It also makes it fabulously heavy, in a way that truly makes clear the good quality of the piece as a whole.
Though this piece does have a few areas of wear, the quality and wow-facter of the crusher makes it truly special, and makes the few areas of wear not really matter.
