A stunning example from the 1930s ‘Isblomst’ (ice flower) Line by Jacob Eiler Bang for Holmegaard. The entire series centers around this iconic ice crystal pattern, which is simply enchanting.
This piece has the added luxury detail of Anton Michelsen Sterling silver handles.
The handles have been left unpolished as the oxidized look currently gives a strong lovely contrast, very much in the art deco aesthetic. However, they can of course be polished up to a shine.

Condition
The ice bucket is in great condition.
There is one small chip to the upper edge, however it has been very well repaired so that it is barely visible. One does have to go looking for it to find it.
Marks
The handles are marked on the inside with the ‘AM’ logo of Anton Michelsen, with the crown over, showing they are an official purveyor to the Royal Danish Court.
As well of course as the ‘925S’ for sterling silver.
