This fabulously stunning cocktail mixing jug with its original cocktail spoon still included was designed by Ole Hagen in the 1950s and named 'The Cap', or in Danish 'Kasketten', for the cap-like solid silver pouring-top.
The cap can be easily removed or stirring or cleaning.
Anton Michelsen Glass & Silver 'The Cap' Cocktail Mixing Jug by Ole Hagen
Condition
The jug, and all parts included in this set, are in excellent condition.
The jug has a little mark to the side, but this is just a tiny flaw from production, where some of the glass-sand has not melted completely.
Marks
The silver rim to the jug and the removable cap are marked 'ANTON MICHELSEN COPENHAGEN' and 'STERLING DENMARK' in the very recognizable Michelsen block-marks.
The spoon is only marked 'STERLING DENMARK', but being in that same iconic Michelsen block-mark, is is certainly by Anton Michelsen as well.
